The children really enjoyed making these today. They were so careful with each one!

Focus on the Future
Casa dei Bambini Montessori provides a high quality Preschool and Kindergarten experience for children and families in Santa Maria, California. Our Preschool and Kindergarten is clean, organized, and safe. Treated with respect and love each student is valued for what they uniquely bring to the world. We believe every child is capable and special, with an intrinsic capacity to create.
Given the proper environment, materials and guidance children will thrive. In our classrooms foundational science, math, reading and writing concepts are taught and explored through hands-on, sensory-oriented activities. Child led individualized work plans are developed for each student. At Casa dei Bambini Montessori individual attention is paramount and class sizes are limited to twelve children; no one is overlooked.
The Montessori educational model was formed over one hundred years ago and is more relevant and needed today than at any other time. This method of education promotes peace over division, and compassion over competition. Casa dei Bambini Montessori is passionate about preparing children for life beyond the classroom.

Pink Tower Power!
Sensorial Work like the Pink Tower is designed to refine the preschool child’s senses. Children love to feel, explore, and touch the world around them. They learn through use of their hands. The Pink Tower activity helps the child distinguish based on three dimensions. ( Height Width & Depth)
Handwriting, Art, Design, and Geometry
Preschoolers & Kindergartners prepare for handwriting using Insets by developing how the pencil is held. Secondly, children practice art skills and learn to notice patterns and design in their environment. Lastly is their experience with geometric shapes for mathematical work later on.
Insets help older children refine their handwriting through practiced hand control.
With colored pencils children trace outlines of geometric shapes onto small paper. Then they draw parallel lines inside the shape with another color pencil.
